Leo is passionate about what he does. A personable and engaging person, Leo’s working history has been across various areas of the health sector in South Australia, assisting people with mental health issues. Since completing his degree, Leo has coordinated, developed, advised on and managed many areas of mental health including care coordination, crisis intervention, psychosocial support and acute response, together with providing support to clinical staff in managing high risk events.

Leo focuses on increasing function of mental health consumers, a focus that fits very well with Back on Track's purpose. He has been responsible for project management support of commonwealth-funded projects and provided advice to government departments on implementing workplace health and wellbeing programs. In addition, Leo has been involved with leading projects in the safety quality and risk management portfolio, including developing resources for mental health services, and working in partnership with coordinators to ensure quality improvement and risk management activities are up to date and maintained.

With training in the Flinders Program™ (Self-management support for prevention of chronic conditions), health coaching (behaviour change), cultural respect and youth mental health, together with his qualification in project management, Leo is exceptionally well organised and brings over 10 years of experience to his role at Back on Track.
