A strong desire to help clients achieve their potential is the driving force behind Ann’s work and what motivates her to continue to strive for excellence in her field.

In addition to her recent position as a clinical educator, School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Queensland, Ann brings over 30 years of practical experience as an occupational therapist in community, private practice and hospital settings, including holding the position of Director of Occupational Therapy at The Royal Children’s Hospital for 10 years, to her role. Specialist areas include paediatrics, aged care and acquired brain injury as well as business development, staff management and organisational change.

Ann’s warm and empathic approach enables her to create exceptional working relationships with individuals. This is especially important in her work with children, adolescents and young adults – an area that Ann is passionate about and where she truly shines. With a special interest in working with children and adolescents with emotional regulation issues, anxiety and trauma, Ann supports young people to thrive in all areas of their daily lives and works alongside families as a whole to achieve their overall goals. With empowerment as the prime objective, Ann focuses on skill development, increasing independence and enhancing independent living abilities in her clients.

Ann is available to undertake NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments and Supported Independent Living Assessments for existing and prospective NDIS participants.
